Elderly man with dementia reported missing Loop Barbados

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 73-year-old man.

He is Lionel McDonald Gadsby of Workmans, St George.

Gadsby left his residence at 6 am on Thursday, December 23 and has not been seen since.

According to authorities, Gadsby suffers from dementia. He has the habit of walking around the Drax Hall and St Judes, St George areas.

He is about five feet six inches in height, with a receding forehead, short grey hair, grey moustache and beard, thin grey eyebrows, and his front upper teeth are missing.

Police said he may have been wearing a grey tee shirt and a dark coloured 3/4pants.

A man fitting Gadsby’s description was seen on Foster Lodge Road, St George, walking in the direction of Charles Rowe Bridge on Friday, December 24, around 9 am.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Lionel Gadsby is asked to contact the District ‘B’ Police Station at 430-7264 or 437-4311, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or any Police Station.
