  • Polls were expected to close at 5pm local time (20:00 GMT) for Brazil’s nearly 160 million eligible voters, with results expected in the coming hours.
  • ⁠Brazilian ⁠Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin orders ⁠voting in the country’s presidential ⁠runoff on Sunday to be extended by two ‌hours, granting a request from President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s campaign.
