Far-right leader Marine Le Pen has said she will run in France’s 2027 presidential election, in an interview with broadcaster TF1.
A Paris appeals court ruled earlier on Tuesday that Le Pen was guilty of misusing public funds but reduced the ban on her holding elected office to 45 months, with 30 suspended.
The ruling meant that Le Pen would be able to run in the presidential election but would have to campaign while wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet.
