Haitian distillery Barbancourt has been recognized at the 2026 “Best Aged Rum Awards”, a competition organized by the specialized guide The Fifty Best. Two of its flagship rums were honored during this edition.
Barbancourt 15 Year Reserve du Domaine and Barbancourt 8 Year Five Star each received a gold medal, confirming the brand’s international recognition within the global spirits industry.
The rums in competition were evaluated through blind tastings conducted by a prequalified panel of judges. The assessment followed strict professional criteria, including aroma, complexity, balance, and overall quality. Medals were awarded after the compilation of scores and the final deliberation of the judging panel.
